final exam planning


  • I will shoot this assignment on a weekend, hopefully sometime in the next two weeks 
  • I will shoot this assignment at my house, at the dog park, or somewhere that's outdoors
  • I will be documenting my dog and what she does throughout the day. I want to make it adventurous and exciting to watch. 
  • I will need a camera that can shoot video and take many fast shots at once in order to capture my dog's fast movements and crazy energy 
  • I will use the images for when she is doing something still. By this I mean I will most likely use the images when she is waking up and doing something around the house. Then, I will use the video portion when she is running around at the park and doing something energetic. I will most likely narrate when we are going somewhere new so the viewer will be able to tell where we are and what we are doing.

The composition rule I followed for this photo is balance. The subject's are the two groups of people. They are both the subjects because the groups are very crucial to this image since they are the focus of the photo. The two groups are balancing each other out. People who are looking at this photo may not realize that this image has more than one subject. However, the photo is focused on the two groups, so if people know the rules for balance in a photo then they will know that the groups are both the subjects. I think I could have gotten a different angle in order to make one group stand out more than the other. 1. Where is one place on the internet you might go to better prepare yourself for the location you are shooting at?  Online map service, such as Google Maps. Google Maps show great detail of locations. 2. What is one app you might download to help you when trying to pick the best angle to take landscape photos?   The app Photographer's Ephemeris that will help you predict the angles of sunrise and sunset. Includes features that will tell you the best angles and when to shot your landscape photos. 3. What is the biggest problem shooting with a zoom or telephoto lens? You want to shoot details from a distance to make the foreground and background to appear to be very close together.
