Sensory Overload

"I believe that more and more, we are defining our environments not as the spaces themselves, in terms of the buildings or architecture, but rather by the objects and devices that we buy and surround ourselves with. ... I would like that message to carry through universally," Seymour said.
1. I think that this statement is quite accurate. Nowadays, we are defining our environments by what we have and the objects that are available to us for our very own entertainment. Instead, when we see an environment we should see the landscape and the whole atmosphere that makes it unique and different from other places around the world. How when we visit somewhere it should be a new and exciting experience due to the land around us that has changed, not the objects . I would want my photography to be shot of the land and my surroundings.
2. I think a child of someone who worked at some of these stores would absolutely love it. There is so much to do and look at, and there are many toy stores for these kids. I assume any child would love to be somewhere like this place.
3. My favorite photo is probably the one of the wool hats all around the store. I really like how bright and colorful all of the hats are, they really make the photo very appealing to the eye. Also, I love the kids reaction as he is sitting inside this very colorful store. He has a huge gasp on his face, as if he is so in love with all of the items and things to look at. It really sets the mood of the whole photo because it shows that this is such a kid friendly and fun place for many.
