First Day Photos




 I liked this photo because the lockers look very rustic. Also the angle of the photo is why this is one of my favorites. Since the camera was on one side of the lockers, it appears that the lockers were getting smaller. Lastly, the color of the lockers really make the picture pop. Everything else in the picture is dull and a single shade. However, since the lockers are old, it makes the picture look very old-fashioned. 





I chose this photo because I liked the setting. And adding a person into the scene really completed the whole photo. I liked how the sun was only shown on half of the photo. And the shadows created by the sun really added extra detail to this photo. Also, Michael's posture made the photo look really genuine and not posed.







I chose this photo because, I liked how all the focus is on the flowers. The flowers really stand out because they are very vibrant colors, and are the only colorful things in the picture. Also the picture appears to be taken at a bird's eye view. This empathizes the fact that the flowers appear to be 3D and life like.

The composition rule I followed for this photo is balance. The subject's are the two groups of people. They are both the subjects because the groups are very crucial to this image since they are the focus of the photo. The two groups are balancing each other out. People who are looking at this photo may not realize that this image has more than one subject. However, the photo is focused on the two groups, so if people know the rules for balance in a photo then they will know that the groups are both the subjects. I think I could have gotten a different angle in order to make one group stand out more than the other. Landscape Photography

1. Where is one place on the internet you might go to better prepare yourself for the location you are shooting at?  Online map service, such as Google Maps. Google Maps show great detail of locations. 2. What is one app you might download to help you when trying to pick the best angle to take landscape photos?   The app Photographer's Ephemeris that will help you predict the angles of sunrise and sunset. Includes features that will tell you the best angles and when to shot your landscape photos. 3. What is the biggest problem shooting with a zoom or telephoto lens? You want to shoot details from a distance to make the foreground and background to appear to be very close together.
